Prologue

This piece has been dedicated to each heart that had throbbed loudly enough to drown the shaky voice of a biased brain, each enemy that had dropped his gun and each friend that had been one. It is a grim narration by a Nazi soldier whose grey eyes have squinted at the destruction caused by his own self. A destruction of the helpless, but more than that, a destruction of his conscience.

Torn between his duty for his fatherland and the tiny speck of humanity that still blots his soul, he must choose.
